Welcome to the Haywards Stud of New Forest Ponies


At the Haywards stud we are passionate about New Forest ponies and our aim is to breed and produce top quality, typey and versatile ponies with fantastic temperaments.

Our stud stallion Long Copse Elton needs little introduction as he is a prolific winner inhand and under saddle as well as being a top class dressage pony. His impeccable temperament is well known and he is truly is one of the most laid back stallions around! These wonderful attributes, coupled with incredible movement and presence, are always passed onto his foals.

Along with our stud bred and kept ponies we also have forest run broodmares and youngstock. All of our broodmares including the stud mares are Forest born and bred which we believe keeps their progeny true to type and free moving.
